CIS is committed to producing independent learners who have the skills to source and evaluate information and apply it in the real world. We believe that if students are to be truly prepared to be responsible global citizens, they will need to have amassed a critical body of knowledge but this alone will not suffice. They will need to have had practice in applying this knowledge to real world situations and problems, individually and as part of a team.

The students from Internationale Friedensschule Koln (Primary) feed into Cologne International School from the start of Grade 5. CIS is composed of a middle school and a high school that is due to open in 2012.

The facilities are contained in new, state of the art buildings designed to facilitate learning at its best. The campus includes computer, music, science, art, physical education facilities and outdoor play areas.
